Product Compatibility Mapping

Cross-reference the original manufacturer part number with the corresponding Fiberland part number before confirming the target device and firmware.

No verified part-number mapping is linked to this product yet.

Send the target device brand, model, firmware or OS and port details for an exact compatibility review.

A part-number cross-reference is a model-selection starting point, not a blanket device guarantee. Final fit depends on the exact device, firmware or OS, target port and requested coding profile.

Frequently Asked Questions

Answers to common compatibility, installation and troubleshooting questions.

Will DOM values appear correctly on third-party transceivers?

With a properly compatible module and supported host platform, DOM/DDM values should normally be accessible through the network equipment's management interface.

Can compatible transceivers be used with existing fiber cabling?

Yes, provided the module's fiber requirements match the installed cabling, including single-mode or multimode fiber, connector type, wavelength, and supported transmission distance.

What information should I provide when requesting technical support for a compatible transceiver?

Provide the transceiver part number, corresponding OEM part number, switch or router brand and exact model, operating system or firmware version, port number and speed, error messages, DDM/DOM readings, and information about the transceiver and equipment at the opposite end of the link.

Do both ends of an optical link need the same OEM compatibility?

No. Each transceiver generally needs to be compatible with the equipment in which it is installed. For example, one end may be coded for one switch brand and the other end for another.

Why is the transceiver recognized but DDM/DOM information is missing?

The module may be recognized while diagnostic monitoring is not fully supported by the host platform or compatibility profile. Check whether both the transceiver and network device support DDM/DOM for that interface.
